Change Requires Work
Everybody wants change, but not everybody wants to work to change. Sitting around waiting for a miracle like it’s still raining manna from heaven, but baby, God stopped serving free plates a long time ago. 🍽️
I was raised in the “name it, claim it, blab it, grab it” generation, which created more spectators than doers. People talk about what they want, pray for what they want, dream about what they want… but won’t lift a finger to move toward it. That’s not Faith, it’s laziness.
“Faith without works is dead” (James 2:26) and “A man who doesn’t work, doesn’t eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10). Translation? If you want a harvest, you better be planting seeds. Not scrolling through someone else’s garden. 🌱
Change grows from the ground up and from the inside out. It requires showing up, doing, trying again, and sometimes doing it scared. Scared not from doing wrong, but of the unknown. When life knocks you down, you must get back up, noting that sometimes the falling means you need to do something different, because if you fail, that means something was out of alignment. God blesses motion, we’ve been taught and I believe if you make one step He’ll make more.
Are you the hold up to the change that you’re waiting for? Because change only shows up where effort lives.
Disclaimer:
This post is about reality. Faith is fuel, but effort is ignition. Without both, you’re just sitting in a parked car with the engine off. 🚗✨
