🌤️When the Reset Doesn’t Look Like You Imagined

This week wasn’t what I thought it would be, as it wasn’t as productive as I would have liked it to have been.  I didn’t feel extra motivated and neither did I have any big breakthroughs. It was quiet. It was heavy. It was emotional. It was reflective. And honestly it was necessary.

Sometimes the reset doesn’t look like wellness influencers or goal-setting guides say it will. Sometimes, it looks like being a couch potato for a day. Eating only when your body insists. Resting because everything else feels like too much. And letting your spirit breathe without forcing it to be “okay.”

That’s where I’ve been lately, letting life be what it is while still choosing gratefulness.

Even though I wasn’t physically feeling the best, and my appetite disappeared, I still said, “thank you, Lord” daily. Not because everything felt good, but because I’m still here. I’m still standing and still pressing forward through this thing we call life.

You don’t have to pretend you’re full of energy when you’re not.
You don’t have to post when your spirit is quiet.
You don’t have to be “on” to still be anchored.

This is just a gentle reminder: Whatever your reset looks like, it counts.
Let grace meet you right where you are today.
And when you’re ready to move again—even if it’s just a little—know that you are not alone.
