If There Was Nothing To Do… What Would I Be Doing?
Sometimes the days all seem to run together. The weeks fly by, and I’m still trying to figure out if today is Sunday or Wednesday. A full schedule means there’s still purpose, still motion, still LIFE.
Whenever I take a break and look over my forever-growing to-do list, sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed. But what a blessing it is to not only have something to do, but to be physically able to do it. It doesn’t matter if it’s work, family, home, business, healing, planning, dreaming, or just catching up, I believe it is all part of my divine purpose.
If there was nothing to do, what would I be doing? Probably nothing, and doing nothing is definitely not food for the soul.
If you can relate, today let’s look at our to-do list a little differently. As it is a reminder that there are things worth waking up for, people worth showing up for, and dreams worth working toward each day.
Rest is necessary and refreshing. But in the moments of action, let’s be grateful for the responsibilities that shape us, stretch us, and keep us connected to purpose.
Your to-do list is proof that you’re still in the game. That’s something to celebrate.
